His Excellency and the embassy staff thanked Emirates Holding Company as the first, exclusive and approved company to organize all Expo 2025 Osaka - Kanzai - Japan events in the Middle East.

His Excellency Khalid Omran Al Ameri, the UAE Ambassador to Japan, reviewed the features and prospects of bilateral cooperation between the UAE and Japan in a broad investment symposium under the slogan “An Introduction to the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership - CSP -” in the presence of a large number of members of companies, businesses, banks and institutions. His Excellency said that bilateral cooperation in various sectors is witnessing steady growth, confirmed by high-level meetings between the leadership of the two countries. He discussed the strong and distinguished relations between the two countries in many fields, stressing the growth of bilateral relations in various fields. He explained that the UAE is opening its doors to more Japanese investments thanks to its political and economic stability, the flexibility of its investment laws, as well as its distinguished geographical location, which has made it a major hub for trade with neighboring countries and a gateway to the African continent. He pointed to the UAE's ranking in the Global Competitiveness Index 2019, as it ranks first among Arab countries, stressing that the UAE is a model of political, economic and social stability, and that Expo 2020 Dubai will give a strong boost to its economy. He pointed out that the UAE is the second largest exporter of oil and the fifth largest exporter of gas to Japan, and that about 350 Japanese companies and more than 4,000 Japanese live and work in the UAE. He noted that the two countries signed the Investment Protection Treaty in April 2018 in order to further protect and encourage mutual investments, and that this agreement is expected to ensure stable activities for Japanese companies operating in the country.
